| This I Believe: |
As an egyptologist, I am striving to follow the path of the people of Kemet (ancient Egypt), a civilization which laid the foundation stone for some of the religions we know today.
Kemet passed us vast and detailed accounts of complex religious festivities and complicated rites, so that many people today are overseeing the fact that in essence, the doctrine of Kemet is as easy to understand as the creed of the Universal Life Church:
"The temple of the soul is the council chamber of the gods within each one of us. Let us enter it daily, lest the door becomes rusted with disuse and unopenable." (Osirian Scripts)
What else does this mean than just "Do only that which is right"? |
