We are divinely created in love, and to give and receive love. As beloved creations of God, we minister to each other for the purpose of deepening our understanding and awareness of the living waters of the spirit that dwell within us, rather than "out there". While my Catholic background gave me some beautiful gifts, my spiritual/life journey has led me beyond those walls into embracing a more universal Truth. All faith expressions have components of fellowship, prayer and worship in some manner. I believe God is much bigger than 'religion' per se, which sometimes purports the condition of "who's in and who's out". I believe the altar, wherever that may be, is a welcoming table for all to share in the banquet equally...without judgement or fear. The God of love and awesome creation resonates and lives within us all. |
