Services Performed: Crisis Intervention, Resolution Counseling, Family Reconciliation,Specializing in Teen Issues,Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation, Legal problem counseling. We are a "grass roots" orgainzation working the front lines in the war against drugs. (mainly METH, a sickness of epic proportions). We work primarily with offenders and ex offenders of the judicial system. These individuals are ones who express the desire to "do that which is right" but are overwhelmed, feel hopeless and/or and lack the skill or knowledge to find a place to start. OUr goal is to teach these individuals that many rewards can be obtained in a drug/crime free life. Most are individuals with tragic events in their lives that prompted their downfall into the "criminal world". These are people whom "society" has given up on. Good people make bad choices. We teach them that there is hope and support for those who wish to take that first step. Our services are NOT FOR EVERYONE but OPEN TO ANYONE to truly wishes to become a "good citizen" and "make good choices". Encouraging the acknowledgement of a higher power as their guide to live a fullfilling life as a "good citizen", making good and right choices. (Matt 5:25, Diety recognizes divine authority and sovereignty of the legal system) 42 CFR Part 2 applies to Ministry RCW 5.6.060 apply Marriages Baptisms Blesssingt Strong committment to "Teen Issues". The same concept of a higher power/chain of command is taught with emphasis on family communication and education. We believe our children are our greatest natural resource and our future leaders take many forms. Our goal is to reach our young BEFORE they stumble down the road of drugs/crime that leads to their destruction. If this war against drugs is to be won, we must first start with our children. All communications between individuals of our congregation and this ministry are strickly confidential according to law will not be released or expressed to ANYONE without specific written concent of the member and/or specific court order signed by a judge. Experience: Christian 22years; Social Services 8+years; Recovering Addict 2+years, 21years mom.
This I Believe: This I Believe: Christian Based with acknowlegement of Native American Spirituality If you can see no spiritual authority, then look to the judge of the courts as a higher power, for those people have the power and authority to significantly affect your life. Matt 5:25-26 1Peter 1:13 Submit yourselves for the Lords sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority, 14 or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. 15 For it is Gods will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men. Their is a chain of command in our universe. The label of your groups name does not matter. What does matter is that we all recognize this chain of command. Our higher power allows and enforces "the law of the land". Obey mans laws as they were Gods Laws. UNLESS MANS LAWS GO AGAINST GODS LAWS.
Favorite Quote: That which does not kill us makes us stronger. (Nietzsche) If there were only good and no bad; how then would you know just how good the good really is!!! (me) Judge not lest ye be judged. Matthew 7:1 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1 Timothy 1:9 Only God can judge me....ME
