| This I Believe: |
The Church of the God of the Lord Jesus Christ believes that there is one God the Father. We believe Jesus is the only begotten of God, fully God and fully man. We believe that the Holy Spirit is present with us to comfort, guide, lead, convert, to declare Jesus the Son of God. We believe that both testaments to be the full and binding word of God. Two halves of one whole. We believe that believers are called to live holy and godly lives. Separated to God to be a royal priesthood. We follow the example of the Acts of the Apostles when witnessing to unbelievers; Repent and be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. We worship both Sabbath and Lord's Day as was the original practice. The Church does not endorse Christmas or Easter Celebrations; or any other national celebrations. We believe that we are pilgrims in a strange land and that our citizenship is in Heaven. We believe that the laws of the land are ordained by God and as such should be obeyed until revelation teaches otherwise. |
