As an ordained, non-denominational minister, I realize and have peace with the understanding that each individual has a human and spiritual right to connect with God in their own unique way, as God leads them. I recognize each person's uniquely chosen path, separate and distinct from my own, and honor that with and for them. It is often difficult to for some to understand such a position; But I believe in doing so, we honor ALL of God's people, creation, and richness in life.
I firmly believe that God speaks to each of us individually, in our way, meeting our own capacity to hear, see, and enjoy the blessings and Grace of God. Christian, Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, Mormon, Protestant, Roman Catholic other Catholic rites, Bahá'í, Full Gospel, Charismatic and Evangelical, Hindu, Seventh Day Adventists, and others, are all seeking the blessings, power and Grace of God. Certainly there are differences, some great and some minor, in the words, traditions, holy texts, practices, communities, and means to the end. But in the end, we are all seeking the greater light of life - an Eternal, Loving, Compassionate God. |
