| This I Believe: |
God is the impersonal life force, consciousness, ultimate truth and reality, the incorporeal, formless cosmic order personified within all people and matter - God is all and all are God. Many of the world’s prophets, including Jesus, are reincarnations of the Christ. The universe, life, and matter were not created by God but “are” God. There is no death, but continual rebirth, as life is spirit. There is no original sin and no Satan and no evil. Salvation lies in the realization of oneness with the impersonal life force, thus unlocking one’s healing potential. Realize your true nature as purely spirit (or soul) and not body, as one with the Absolute, Universal Soul. Suffering is the result of greed, hatred, and spiritual ignorance in a person’s, or humanity’s, past lifetimes. Abortion should not be condemned, as there is no official doctrine. Homosexual behavior, like heterosexual behavior, is natural and should not be regarded as immoral, or out of harmony. Every person has the natural right (and the responsibility) to peacefully determine what is right, and should pursue their spiritual beliefs without interference from any outside agency, including government or church authority. Citing John 15:16 (KJV), ordination comes not from the church, but has already been granted from God, from the beginning, and that the church merely records the
ordination in the official records as a means by which worldly governments will acknowledge it. |
