Religious Society of Friends is unprogrammed Silent Ministry have no written creed or fixed tenets of belief and no defined program of prayer. Music and sermonizing are absent during Worship Meetings. Further , Worship Meetings do not have a person in charge. Rather, Religious Society of Friends believe that little bit of G-d resides in each individual as such we are oppose to Violence in all it forms. Congregants enter the Meeting Room and settle down in silent waiting ,listening to G-d We believe that G-d speaks to everyone, and we worship G-d as equals. We sit together quietly and try to find a peace within ourselves, which then seems to gather us into silence
We set aside some time each day to be in G-d"s presence. |
